About Me

 Hello! My name is Isabelle Cummins (though most people call me "Izzy"). I'm a freelance author/illustrator in my spare time.

I graduated from Lancaster University with a First-Class Honours in Fine Art before completing an MA in Children's Book Illustration and Graphic Novels at Middlesex University in 2019.

​

I now live and work in Gloucestershire, where I find myself inspired by the beautiful landscape around me. Nature features heavily in my work - I just love drawing and painting it, whether it be a landscape or a cute, animal-inspired character.

​

I spend my time turning my illustrations into cards and prints for my shop, whilst building up a portfolio of illustrations for children's books. I gladly accept commissions as well.

Outside of work and illustration, I'm probably at the gym and being convinced to sign up to some sort of sporting event, reading about faeries, attempting to look after my garden, or dreaming of my next holiday in Greece...
